FAQs

Q: What's the deal with JAMIE 3????

A: Remember Jamie Baker (Jamie Baker #3) is off of hiatus now and I have started working on it again. I am hoping for a June release, but that is very tentative. I plan to take my writing slower this year as I have been having some health issues. Jamie 3 and Supernaturals 4 are my top two priorities right now, so as soon as they are done, you will have them. I plan to have them both published in 2016. I just don't know when specifically.

Q: Will you make movies out of your books?
A: I would love that. Unfortunately, authors have no control over whether or not their books get made into movies. That is completely up to Hollywood, and sadly, they have not come knocking on my door. If you know a movie producer or a studio executive, by all means, tell them about my books!

Q: Foreign languages! Will my books come out in your language?
A: I am open to foreign publishing inquiries, but I don't actively seek them out. I simply don't have the time to query all the foreign markets. If you would like to see my books in your country/language, you are welcome to contact your local publishers about them. Sometimes, if enough fans ask, the publishers contact the authors.

Q: Will you co-write another book in the future?
A: Honestly, I don't know. Jonathan and I enjoyed the process, but we like working on our own projects better. We'll see.

Q: SEQUELS??? Will there be a sequel to...?

Jamie Baker: The Jamie Baker series is a trilogy. Reading Order: Being Jamie Baker, More Than Jamie Baker, and Remember Jamie Baker.

Supernaturals: The Supernaturals series has a planned 4 books. Reading Order: Chameleon, Ungifted, Scion, Priestess. I will let people know the release date for Priestess just as soon as I have set it. Definitely 2016 though. I also have ideas for several spin-offs and novellas, but we'll see what I'm feeling up to writing after I finish priestess.

V is for Virgin: V is for Virgin is a 2 book series. Reading Order: V is for Virgin, A is for Abstinence. The series is complete.

The Science Squad: The Science Squad Series is currently a 2 book series. Reading order The Avery Shaw Experiment, The Libby Garrett Intervention. I have one more planned for sure. Science Geek Brandon has a story to tell! (Though I don't know when I will get to write it.) There is a possibility of more Science Squad books in the future, but I have no official information on that at this time.

Serial Hottie: This is also a stand-alone. Love these guys to death, but have no plans to continue their story.

Cinder & Ella: As of now, this is also a stand-alone. I have an idea for a companion novel, but no time to write it at the moment. Maybe someday.

Q: Do you have ARC/review copies available of your books?

A: digital review copies are available upon request for any book review bloggers, vlogers, podcasters, media people, foreign publishers, movie producers, etc. Email me at [email protected]

Q: Will I read/review/critique your book/manuscript?

BETA READING: People occasionally ask me to read and give feedback to their works-in-progress. As much as I wish I could help, I simply don’t have the time. Try the Query Tracker forums, or other websites like it if you’re looking for a beta-reading partner. Or join a writing group! Those have always been my best source when seeking critique partners.

BOOK REVIEWS: I read a lot. I’m always looking for something good to read. If you have a book you’d like me to read, by all means send me the summary/link. I never promise to read/review a book, but if I have time and the summary catches my interest I might pick it up. I don’t review everything I read, but I do tend to gush about books I love on my social media. If I don't like the books I read or don't think they'd be a good fit for my audience, I simply won't say anything.

Q: Do you do cross promotion with other authors?
When I have time. :) If you have something in mind, or want to come up with something together, give me a shout!
